With over 50 years of experience in criminal defense, Rod Goble is a highly respected trial lawyer committed to protecting the rights of his clients. Having handled more than 17,000 cases and successfully led over 300 jury trials, he brings unmatched expertise and dedication to the courtroom.
 
Rod has been practicing law since 1976, earning admission to Federal Court in July 1980 and achieving Texas Board of Legal Specialization certification in criminal law in 1981. His extensive legal experience also includes serving as a Municipal Court Judge in Woodway, Texas and working as a prosecutor for McLennan County, Texas from 1976 to 1980.

Rod, a proud alumnus of Baylor University Law School, shared his expertise as an adjunct professor for over a decade, guiding future legal professionals with his knowledge and experience.
 
Rod has been an active leader in the legal community, having served as President of the Young Lawyers Association and receiving the prestigious Outstanding Young Lawyer award. He is also a member of the Federal Grievance Committee for the Waco Division of the 5th Circuit Court, reinforcing his dedication to integrity and professionalism in the legal field.
 
Beyond his legal career, Rod is a devoted family man, happily married to Kara Neely-Goble, a successful realtor, and proud father of three grown sons and grandfather to four grandchildren. Outside the courtroom, he enjoys playing chess and engaging in outdoor sports, with a particular passion for kayaking.
